Your home’s electrical system should work quietly in the background. It should be safe, efficient, and ready to meet the demands of modern living. At NPM Electrical, we specialise in high-quality domestic electrical services that bring comfort, convenience and peace of mind.
Whether you’re planning a full rewire, adding lighting to an extension, or fitting a new EV charger, our NICEIC-approved electricians handle every job with precision and care. We work neatly and efficiently, ensuring every installation blends seamlessly into your home.
Complete Electrical Solutions for Your Home
We provide a comprehensive range of services for domestic properties throughout Sussex, Surrey and Kent. All our work is fully tested, certified and compliant with Part P of the Building Regulations and BS 7671 Wiring Regulations. Here are some of our more common domestic electrical services:
Full and Partial Rewires
If your home has outdated wiring or you’re renovating an older property, a full or partial rewire can dramatically improve safety and reliability. We replace ageing cables, sockets and switches with modern, compliant wiring that meets current regulations and the power demands of today’s homes. Perfect for refurbishment and house extension projects.
Consumer Unit Upgrades and Fuse Board Replacements
Upgrading your consumer unit is one of the best ways to enhance your home’s electrical safety. We install the latest RCD-protected fuse boards that detect faults instantly and protect you from electric shocks or fire risk. All work is tested, certified and carried out by NICEIC-approved electricians.
Lighting Installation
From recessed ceiling spots to stylish pendant fittings, well-planned lighting can completely transform your home. We design and install lighting systems that balance energy efficiency with beautiful results. Our service will ensure safe wiring, clean finishes and the right mood for every room.
Outdoor and Garden Power
Bring your outdoor spaces to life with safe, weatherproof electrical installations. We provide garden and landscape lighting, outdoor sockets, and power supplies for hot tubs, sheds and summer houses. Everything is fitted professionally and neatly with fully protected wiring and circuit breakers.
Smart Home and Intelligent Lighting Systems
Smart home technology lets you control lighting, heating and entertainment at the touch of a button. Our team designs and installs the wiring infrastructure for today’s most advanced systems, integrating everything from smart lighting to voice-controlled devices for modern, connected living.
EV Charger Installation for Convenient Home Charging
Owning an electric car is even easier with a dedicated home charging point. We install compact, efficient EV chargers that are faster and safer than using a standard socket. Your new installation will be positioned conveniently and discreetly and fully certified for long-term reliability.
Fire and Smoke Alarm Systems
Early detection saves lives. We install mains-powered and interlinked fire and smoke alarm systems that provide clear alerts throughout your home. Each system is designed for your property layout and tested for full compliance with current safety standards.
EICR Safety Inspections and Landlord Certificates
An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is essential for landlords and recommended for all homeowners. Our inspections identify potential hazards, verify compliance with regulations and provide certification for peace of mind, insurance or property rental.
Quality, Safety and Care
Your safety is our priority. Every installation we carry out is carefully planned and tested to ensure long-term reliability. We use only quality components from trusted manufacturers, and we take time to explain your options clearly before work begins.
Our team understands that we’re working in your home, so we take extra care to protect flooring, clean up after ourselves, and treat your property with respect.
